Advisory and restructuring

We review processes, resources and organisational models to improve efficiency, strengthen decision-making and prepare the company for a new stage.

When it makes sense

  • Processes have piled up over the years and nobody remembers why they are done this way.
  • Decisions stall because it is not clear who decides what.
  • The structure reflects the company of years ago, not the one that exists today.
  • The organisation has to be ready for a change of ownership, a generational handover or an integration.

What it includes

  • Process map: how the work actually gets done today, not how the manual says it should.
  • Structure review: roles, responsibilities and where they overlap or fall through the cracks.
  • Friction points: where time, money or information is lost, with an estimate of the cost.
  • Proposed model: what changes, in what order, and what it means for people.
  • Transition plan: how to move from the current model to the new one without stopping the business.

What you are left with

A new organisational model, agreed with the leadership team, and the transition schedule to get there.

Frequently asked questions

Does restructuring mean cutting jobs?

Not necessarily. Most projects are about reorganising responsibilities and processes. When headcount changes are unavoidable, we say so at the diagnosis stage, not as a surprise conclusion.

How do you handle the impact on the team?

With transparency and an agreed communication plan. An organisational change the team finds out about through rumours fails even when the design is right.

Can you join a restructuring already under way?

Yes. In that case the work starts by understanding what has been done and what is working, before proposing anything.
